Valentine's Day and Jacob's Birthday

After all the big holidays we've just had, I've been thinking about Jacob's and my families traditions and what our traditions would be when we have a family. One thing I've decided to do I call 14 days of love. (Alot of people also call it 14 days of valentines.) So on February 1st I began our new tradition. I think I caught him off guard a little bit at first. And I honestly didn't know what he even thought about it. It was all silly and cheesy little things. But I should have known it'd be a success. Seriously, Jacob is the silliest, cheesiest guy I know ;) hehe. And by day 4 he was looking forward to what his surprise was everyday.

Day 1: Hot Cheetos
"Luffa: my love for you is flaming hot!"

And I just realized I wrote 'flamming'. I love misspelling things that are too late to correct :P

Day 2: Tic Tacs

"We are 'mint' to be... I love you!"

Day 3: Jumping Frogs
"Your love makes my heart jump for joy. I love you!"

Day 4: Light-up Heart
"You are the keeper of my heart"

Day 5: Gold Fish
"I have found my fish in this sea. PS: You are the fish"

Day 6: Giant Pen
"9x-7i>3(3x-7u)
9x-7i>9x-21u
-7i>-21u
7i<21u
i<3u
I'm sorry I was a little too busy doing math homework to get you something sweet, but look above to find my hidden message and have this giant pen to keep"

Day 7: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups
"You my love: are the peanut butter to my cup"

Day 8: Light Saber Lollipop
"Great it is, the force of our love"

Day 9: Bubble Gum
"I chews you"

Day 10: Paddle and Ball Toy
"You make my heart go boom boom boom"

Day 11: Robot Cup
"I'm not a robot who's been programmed perfectly, but you still love me, flaws and all. I couldn't be more grateful. I love you Jacob"

Day 12: Hotel Transylvania and Popcorn
"Get ready to relax your feet, tonight I've got a special treat"
(Have I ever mentioned how much I love Target? Because I do. The weekend before this day we had gone to Katy to see my new niece Henley and briefly saw the beginning of this movie while we were there. I went to Target on Monday morning and they had it on sale for $10. Oh and it was a super cute movie, BTW. Target was actually sold out so I got a rain ticket, but I really wanted to use the movie for this so I went to walmart and did a price match. Anyone want my rain check? I still have it. Lol. Oh and I definitely still give all credit to Target. I love that place. Haha.)

Day 13: Star Wars Puzzle
"We go together like pieces of a puzzle"
( I drew two cute puzzle pieces on the bottom but they barely showed up in the picture :( )

Day 14: A valentines card and assorted chocolates
(Yes, that is a phineas and ferb card. And yes, Jacob loved it. Haha)
Valentines night we went to a movie and dinner. We say Beautiful Creatures which I ended up loving!! I was a little unsure of what I'd think, but I shed some tears and was on the edge of my seat at the end of the movie. I will be buying that one. Lol. And then we ate at Ninfas. It was delicious and I had a wonderful evening with my fiancé. Seriously I can't wait to marry him!!

I worked that morning and when I came home I found this beautiful rose on my kitchen table. He snuck it in on his lunch break. Such a sweetie :)

I had gotten into the habit of little surprises. It was fun! Lucky for him his birthday is just 4 days later. So he got spoiled again. Haha. For his birthday I made enchiladas and lemon cake. When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted I'll admit lemon cake was the last thing I expected him to say, but it turned out great! His parent's and brother came over to enjoy the food with us. It was a good evening :)

I forgot to take a picture of the food. I don't know why but I like to document those kind of things :P And I only have a picture of half the lemon cake.

I may or may not have teased him by sending this picture to him while he was at work... or may :) hehe.

Some clothes and angry birds for the xbox! It's the same as on a phone, but I've enjoyed it so far ;) Haha.

And his half eaten lemon cake, at least I know it was a hit!!
