The Hecks stopped by on the way to & back home from their cruise
They came to church with us too, and I caught Jacob enjoying the activities I packed for all of the kids ð
Kayla made a birthday card for Uncle Stephen
Making one of the unicorn crafts from her birthday present from the Seckingers
Sleepy kid wouldn't lay down in bed... but it didn't take him long to fall asleep on me.
Also, looking back on these pictures, I'm realizing the Wilson was earring these pajamas for a few days in a row ðŽ This was us cuddling the next day
And later that night Kayla had a shower and he was still in the same pajamas....
Drawing the tv stand ð
Cute boy ð And still in the same pajamas ð
Sweet cuddles ð
I love them
goof-balls!
She was obsessed with her new headband, obviously
And I'm obsessed with her ð
Finding allll the rocks (that dirty shirt ðŽ)
Pretty sunset
Some times Daddy surprises us and gets home early (normally he gets home after 11pm)
Sweet cuddles before bed, and that hand holding ð
We did our Come Follow Me reading/lesson and then I helped Kayla write a talk for primary.
Again, I'm so impressed that she stood up in front of the primary and read this all by herself!!
He loves sitting and standing on Jacob's feet
and holding on tight before he has to let Daddy go to work
This drives Jacob crazy but I think Wilson is so stinking cute, even in a dress ðð
And really he just does it because he likes to spin in the dresses. Plus he has a big sister who is his best friend so...
Sweet hugs before Daddy goes to work
This is about the most effort I'll put in for holidays. (Aside from Christmas, although It's still pretty minimal compared to most) Sometimes I try to be a fun Mom ð
Heart shaped pancakes, fruits, and strawberry milk (which my kids call pink milk ð)
We also made some Valentine Day cards.
This is Kayla's
Mine
And another one of Kaylas. Wilson did one too but it was mostly scribbling and cutting random pieces of paper and randomly gluing them ðŽ
Cuddles and silly pictures ð
Wilson and I went out for a treat and to run some errands
ð
And Kayla and Jacob went out for a date. I asked him to take a picture and he did not disappoint ð
Kayla sat down next to me and started reading this book. It's like 50 or more pages long. A few sentences on each page, but still super long for a new reader... and she finished it! I was shocked!
Grandma McConnell sent some hearts for Valentine's Day ð
"Happy Birthday Daddy, we love you so much. Love Mommy & Kayla & Wilson"
The SWEETEST birthday card!! And much needed because I was down with the flu and did nothing for him. She stepped up though ð
I was on the couch and in bed for the better part of a week and a half with the flu and they were soooo good, especially when Daddy had to go back to work!!
Some more Kayla creations...
Ninja turtle feeding chickens
Her house and her car
I was randomly checking the wether and looked at Bryan and it said tornado ðģI think Jacob was even talking to his dad... it was fine there ð
I hate these carts... they love them so much though
Kite flying
And Kayla finally riding her bike!!
Then a yummy treat to end a fun day. I love these people ð
