Wilson figured out how to climb onto the chairs... and the table. The rest of our time staying at Grandma and Papa's was constantly getting him down or being shut in the den. Lol.
I got a video of him climbing the chair... but it wouldn't load. He also figured out how to climb the rocking chair. He enjoyed climbing in it and rocking back and forth. He's so proud of himself at the end of the video!
Got this in a text from Jacob. For someone who needs to hear words expressed that has a husband who doesn't feel the need to express his every feeling... I appreciated this. Haha.
Got Wilson's Halloween costume in! He wasn't so sure about the hat part. Lol.
1 second of being sweet to each other. Just long enough to get a pic... and then screaming and fighting. Lol.
This is one of the first times that Wilson has sat down and tried to color. He looks so cute and way too big!!
We went to the Texas State Fair with cousins. It was my first time (and my kids) ever going.
I was disappointed in the fried reeses. I did also get some fried avacados with a jalapeƱo ranch dip. THAT was amazing!!
Big Tex
Trying to convince Jacob that we need the new Expedition. (Not that he needs convincing. We just need more money. Lol. Also the fact that we don't have any car payments right now is sooo nice!)
Wilson had fun looking at the trucks, too.
Wilson was so ready to leave by the time we were done. Kayla was being so sweet cuddling him.
At Logan's soccer game. We went to lots of soccer and volleyball games and practices while we lived with cousins.
One of our weekend trips to see Daddy. We were able to stay in a room on base this time, and Jacob was allowed to go there during the day. (He still hadn't phased up yet so he couldn't stay the night, get in the car, leave base, etc.) So we spent the weekend watching tv and hanging out in a hotel room. It was much better than the food court and family room. Lol.
More soccer practice with these cuties! Wilson was happy to sit in the chair and eat, but as soon as his snacks were gone, we were fighting him to stay off the field.
All of a sudden it got COLD, fast in Dallas. And all of the kids clothes were in the storage unit in College Station. We went to the store to grab warm clothes just in time... It was cold when we went on Logan's field trip to the Japanese Gardens.
Kayla had so much fun!!
She loved being around the older kids. She followed close by them everywhere. (Wilson and I kind of hung just behind the group. She was definitely a part of it though.)
By the end of it, she had warmed up to everyone a lot and was trying to hold everyones hands.
Cute boy was happy to be out of the stroller! Ha!
Successful day!
Another bite incident. **insert eyeroll**
So cute in his jammas and sister's glasses. lol.
Kayla's new obsession, Wonder Woman.
Wilson loves anything that belongs to Kayla. Haha. (Seriously, he's such an instigator to aggravating her!) He really likes her headbands, and princess shoes, and necklaces. I think it drives Jacob crazy. But it's cute and makes Wilson happy. (Especially if Kayla is screaming for it back. He loves that part. He'll grab something of hers and take off running with a big smile while she's screaming after him. Such a mess sometimes!)
Sweet cousins!
Wilson always wants Kayla's bike, but is too small to ride it himself. Alyssa was helping him out and he loved it!
2 freaking AM and they're both awake and happy. ...and hogging the bed.
Out! I think sleeping baby pictures are some of my favorite. Haha
A day trip to visit Jacob. He finally phased up! So happy to be driving again, wearing civilian clothes (first time since July!), and leaving base!
Mazzio's is always a great choice ;)
Kayla loves the dogs at Old Navy and Target. She likes dogs... but doesn't like when real ones get too close. So these are perfect for her. Lol.
Love every second I get with him. (And he still doesn't like pictures. Lol.)
Wilson learned to clap!
I asked them to take a pic after church and this was the result. Haha.
I can't get enough of watching her in her own imagination. That's the thing that childhoods should be made of!
We also joined along to the Twin's field trip to the Dallas Zoo!
Cute boy!
She adores her cousins!
And she really enjoyed seeing all the animals. She keeps asking to go back to the zoo.
Wilson meets gorilla. Ha!
They love playing with sticks!
Playing before the field trip is done.
They were both exhausted by the end of the day. I love those kind of activities! Especially now that Kayla thinks she doesn't need naps (trust me, she needs them ;P), activities that end up with both of them taking naps is a good ones!
Trunk or treat at the Y in Grand Prairie! With Rajah, Jasmine, Mal, Carlos, and Evie.
My kids were excited for the firetruck! Logan and Alyssa are so sweet and will do almost anything to make their little cousins happy!
One with my babies. In the past we've done themed costumes as a family. I decided not to dress up since Jacob wouldn't be around. Rajah and Jasmine are both from the movie Aladdin though!
Jacob finally was approved to leave for the weekend! We actually had to drive up there to sign him out though. Silly rules. Anyways, he finally got to spend the weekend in Dallas. It took almost 3 weeks longer than we expected. And when he went back, he was able to take his truck with him!
Buccees - the best pit stop in Texas!
One of Kayla's newest antics. Lol.
Halloween got rained out in Katy, but we were able to do trick or treating at the mall.
Cute kiddos!
Trick or treating with cousins!
Chipotle always does "boo-ritos" on Halloween night. $3 chipotle!! So last minute I realized I needed a costume and went as a cat.
Hyped up with candy and playing with other trick or treating goodies!
I must say this too her too often. Lol.
We FaceTime Daddy a lot these days! haha.
