This past weekend Jacob and I went on a road trip to Pittsburg, Texas. His friends and their new baby live up there. Sadly we hardly took any pictures. And none with any of them. But it was a great weekend! Oh and right before we went up I was feeling crafty and decided to make a dress. I wore it on Sunday when we went to church with them.
On the way up
:)
My dress that I made
Another shot of the dress I made
Driving home. Yes I just so happen to be wearing the same shirt as the way up. Don't judge :P
We found Mater!!!
And then I got bored....
....
We had lots of fun!!
Here's a nasty picture, sorry, but this is what I've been dealing with in Bryan/College Station.
Crickets... Crickets EVERYWHERE!! Eww....
Last Wednesday my mom, grandma, sister, her friend, the twins and I went to the Blue Bell factory. Mmm ice cream :)
He's so sweet!!
I think she was ready for a nap at this point.
Missy and the kids
Such a sweetie :)
Silly girl was feeding her baby. P.S. Alex if you read this... it wasn't the baby doll who left all those chex mix in the side of the door. Just saying ;)
And a few weeks ago I tried a yummy new recipe...
You make a yummy peanut butter and banana sandwich and dip both sides into a mixture of egg and vanilla
And then fry it up
And you have a yummy peanut butter banana french toast breakfast sandwich!
So the dress I mentioned before was actually dress #2... The first one I made I fell in love with! It was coming out beautifully!!... But I forgot to account for, as my friends say, my 'child bearing hips'...
I tried to fix it but it was still a wee bit too tight. So sad!! Anyone want a dress? Haha.
I have to say I like the purple dress better...and not just becasue it fits. Thanks for posting the picts of the kids too...we had a fun LONG day. Did you finish your other project?
ReplyDeleteStill working on that one, hopefully by the next post! And I like the way I made the second one, it was much easier. Those kids are too cute! I can't get enough of them. We need to hurry up and go to San Antonio!
